Whilst we are pleased to take bookings for the 2022 season, we understand that with the ongoing pandemic impacting on holiday plans and with travel restrictions changing across Europe, we know that things can be changed at any time, as rules are updated.

The Perfect Location

La Peyruge is situated in the Bars Commune, about 6 miles (10 kilometres) from Montignac in the Vezere valley in South West France. This region is known as the “Nouvelle-Aquitaine” and is the largest region in France by area.

The house and it’s grounds sit on top of a hill in a very quiet location with views down the valley comprising of meadows, farmland and woodland and is the perfect spot for families and friends to base themselves to explore the wider area.

Even with the latest technology, it’s not easily found on Google Earth or Maps so the image to the right will give you a starting point to view the wider location yourself. Open Google Maps or Google Earth and type “Bars, France” (without the quotes) and zoom in and out to see the wider picture.
